First responders in Kauai rescued an injured visitor in Princeville Friday night. EMS officials say the 65-year-old man from Washington was rescued near Kamehameha Road shortly after 4:50 p.m. Officials say he had broken his leg after falling roughly 15 feet onto the reef near Kaweonui Point, also known as Sea Lodge Beach. He was taken by air to the Hanalei station and then to a nearby hospital after. The investigation is ongoing.
