Firefighters put out a detached garage fire that happened on Wednesday morning located in Springville. Linn County Sheriffs, Springville Fire, Marion Fire, and Anamosa Ambulance responded to the fire around 5:06 a.m. at the 100 block of High Ave. The fire was contained to the garage and also the boat that was next to the garage. There was some fire damage on another detached garage that was located next door. No injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation.
