Three firefighters were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries Thursday after battling a blaze at a vacant home. Fire crews got the call just after 10:45 Wednesday night. They responded to the fire at 316 East Frye. When they got there, flames were shooting up the side of the house and extending to a neighbor's home. Fire officials say they worked to keep the flames from spreading to the nearby home. It took twenty minutes to get the fire under control. The house was completely destroyed. There's no word on a cause and an investigation is underway.
