Peoria firefighters are investigating what caused a kitchen fire in a Peoria home. It happened just after 3:30 A.M. Wednesday morning on W. Millman St.. Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the front of the house. The fire was put out within ten minutes. Seven people who were inside at the time all escaped. They were taken to the hospital to be checked out for any injures. Right now, we do not know any more about their conditions. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Damage is estimated at $17,500.
