Firefighters are looking for the cause of a south Bloomington fire that injured a firefighter Wednesday morning. The house, located near Crestwicke Country Club, appeared to be a total loss. No other injuries were immediately reported. Owner Christopher McCammon was not at home when the fire was reported, but said his cat is unaccounted for. The firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries after a ceiling fell on him, said Bloomington Township Fire Department Chief Tom Willan. The two-story frame house at 8983 Blooming Grove Road is heavily damaged. The house is in the Crestwicke subdivision, east of U.S. 51; the back of the house faces the country club tennis courts.
