Numerous fire departments responded to a mutual aid call for a warehouse fire in Cahokia Heights. The fire began just after 6 p.m. at Advanced Sign & Lighting in the 3500 block of Falling Springs Road. Firefighters said their access to the property was limited due to a locked gate and junked vehicles blocking the way. The fire was under control more than an hour later. The cause of the fire has not been identified.
