Silver Lake Fire Department members and chief John Conley presented a check to Wheels on Fire – Cancer Crusaders Team Leader Lori Miller for $869.40. The money was generated by the fire department from a tenderloin supper and a 50-50 auction. Wheels on Fire is a team that raises funds for the Kosciusko and Fulton counties’ Cancer Care Funds. The Team is appreciative of the community support and has more fundraising events planned for the year, according to a news release from the group. The group is from the Beaver Dam Church.
