Firefighters believe that the fire may have originated near the garage at the rear of the residence before spreading to the home. As firefighters entered the front interior of the home, they encountered high heat and heavy conditions as they moved towards the area of the home involved in flames. Two additional fire engines were dispatched to the scene, taking the total number of apparatus working the scene to six. High heat from the intense flames threatened a home at 507 N.
