The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire in the East Central Neighborhood Saturday morning.
Dispatch confirmed with WANE 15 that the Fort Wayne Fire Department is responding to a house fire at 1319 McCulloch Street across the street from the Jennings Recreation Center.
According to WANE 15 crew at the scene, six fire trucks were at the house along with one standby ambulance. No one was injured as a result of the fire according to officials at the scene.
In a press release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department, firefighters arrived to the scene just before 9:30 a.m. and found the fire in an upstairs bedroom. All residents of the home, two adults and four children, were evacuated and firefighters were able to get the fire under control in under 30 minutes.
