The Manhattan Fire Department reported no injuries after a dryer caught fire Tuesday afternoon at a home north of Aggieville. Firefighters responded to a fire at 2 p.m. at 1114 Vattier St. Crews could not see the fire showing from the home, but quickly put out the fire after locating it in the dryer. All the occupants exited the building safely. A fire department report lists the estimated property loss as $60,000 and content loss as $30,000.
