A fire Wednesday evening damaged the roof at the American Synthetic Rubber Company in Lake Dreamland, according to a spokesperson for the company.
Two employees were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, said Lauren McClure, a spokeswoman for Michelin, which owns the plant.
A call about the fire was reported to MetroSafe around 6:29 p.m. at the building at 4500 Camp Ground Road. Crews from the Lake Dreamland, Pleasure Ridge Park, Okolona and Camp Taylor fire departments assisted in putting out the fire, according to MetroSafe.
