More than 700 are expected to attend one of the longest continuously running fire schools in the nation, the 90th annual Kentucky State Fire School (KYSFS), which returns to Lexington June 6-9 at the Lexington Convention Center. “It’s an honor to continue to be a part of this special fire school legacy,” said Kentucky Firefighters Association (KFA) President Pat Thompson. “This event brings together some of the finest professionals from fire service and other closely related career fields and agencies.” Registration is still open but is now only available on-site during the event, on Level I (ground floor) of the Lexington Convention Center beginning at 7 a.m. each day. For a single payment of $75, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of seminars and hands-on classes, which will remain open based only on availability.
