Albany firefighters dealt with temperatures in the teens Tuesday night as they fought a house fire in the 600 block of Lincoln St. The department responded to the fire around 10:30 p.m. and found flames pouring out of the back of the home. Chief Matt Juliot said everyone got out of the house safely, but one firefighter was injured after slipping and falling on the front porch of the house. Juliot explained that the cold weather made fighting the fire more challenging as crews dealt with freezing water. "They're having issues with their air packs freezing up, (they're) trying to change bottles out. The radio mic sticks sometimes. We're having issues with that," the chief said. "There was no fall at all this yea,r so we're prepared for the rest of the season to be this way," he said.
