Kentucky State Police is investigating after two bodies were located in a structure fire on Wolf Creek River Road in Whitley County early Friday morning. At approximately 12:36 a.m., KSP Post 11 in London was notified by the Whitley County 911 Center of a structure fire with two fatalities at the residence, according to a press release from KSP. KSP Arson Investigator Brian Lewis and KSP detectives arrived on scene and located two deceased bodies after the fire department had extinguished the fire, the release said. The victims were pronounced deceased by Whitley County Coroner's office at about 12:45 a.m. The victims' bodies will be transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
