A crash victim had to be cut out of the vehicle by Mount Vernon firefighters following an accident on Thursday. The crash happened on South Wilderness Road. Only one vehicle was involved, according to firefighters. The victim’s name wasn’t released. They were taken to Rockcastle Regional Hospital after being cut-out of the vehicle.
