A home in Princeton suffered extensive damage in a fire over the weekend. Interim Chief David Sullenger with the Princeton Fire Department tells the News Edge firefighters responded to a house fire at 3198 Farmersville Road shortly before 9:45 Saturday morning. He said the fire was contained to the second story of the home with the attic and upstairs suffering considerable damage. He added there were smoke and water damage throughout the house. According to Sullenger, the Fredonia Fire Department assisted at the scene and the Eddyville Fire Department was on standby at the Princeton fire station for any other calls. There were no injuries reported. The rental home is owned by Jim Bugg.
