4 people displaced after house fire in west Louisville; two firefighters injured

PHOTOS: Four people and a dog were displaced after a fire destroyed a home in west Louisville Wednesday afternoon. Louisville Fire responded to a call of a house fire around noon in the 4100 block of West Broadway, between the Chickasaw and Shawnee neighborhoods. Crews arrived on scene to heavy fire and smoke on the second and third floors of the home. The fire was under control within 18 minutes by 32 firefighters. Everyone in the house made it out safely. Two firefighters sustained non-life threatening injuries but were not transported to the hospital. The American Red Cross is helping the people displaced. Louisville Fire's Arson Unit is investigating the cause of the fire.
