A Gonzales man was arrested Friday for setting a vehicle on fire in Denham Springs, according to the state fire marshal. Dylan Lemoine, 21, was booked into the Livingston Parish jail on Friday, May 3, on one count of Simple Arson. The State Fire Marshal said that early Friday, the Livingston Parish District 5 Fire Department responded to a call about a truck fire in the 28000 block of Juban Road. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. Lemoine, the co-owner of the truck, initially told investigators he was out of the area at the time of the fire. He later admitted to setting the fire out of anger because the truck was malfunctioning. Investigators then arrested Lemoine.
