Some of you may have thought the days of firefighters rescuing cats from trees were a thing of the past. Well, it’s not a cat in a tree, but Baton Rouge Firefighters were caught in the act this week, fixing a broken flagpole.
A neighbor posted to Facebook and Twitter on Tuesday, February 11th, saying she’d noticed a broken flagpole on a neighbor’s house on Friday…and when he was passing by yesterday, it was being fixed…by Baton Rouge firefighters from Station 12.
Apparently, THEY too had noticed the broken flagpole while passing by, and had decided to stop and FIX it!
So, he stopped to thank them, and snapped a picture and posted the good news online.
