A house fire on Alliquippa Street is under investigation by Baton Rouge Fire Department. Upon arrival after 2 p.m. Monday, firefighters found light smoke coming from the house. They found a fire in the kitchen area near the stove, according to BRFD. The fire was contained to that area of the house and the rest of the home’s damages included light smoke and water damage. BRFD said the cause of this fire is undetermined and under investigation.
