PHOTO: The Louisiana State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a fire that killed two men in Sabine Parish.
On April 7, at 2 a.m., the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office (SPSO) received a call regarding a house fire on Brunson Drive, off of LA Highway 191, in the Lanana Bay area of Toledo Bend Lake. SPSO, North Sabine Fire Districts, and the Louisiana Office of State Fire Mashal responded to the call. Deputies learned that four men were inside the house at the time of the fire. Two men were unable to make it out and died in the flames.
The cause of the fire has not been discovered at this time and is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
