A shed fire here on the afternoon of April 9 had self-extinguished upon firefighters' arrival, according to a news release from the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
A handful of firefighters from the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company answered the alarm at 3:22 p.m. for a fire in the 1600-block of Barclay Road. The structure was an 8-by-10-foot wood frame shed, according to the news release.
Investigators reported that property owner William Wallace discovered the fire.
The area of origin and cause of the fire have not been determined.
