A Frederick County, Md. family has been displaced after their house caught on fire Thursday evening.
Sarah Campbell, the public information officer for Frederick County Fire & Rescue, says around 5:35 p.m. crews were called to the 11000 block of Renner Road in Keymar.
Campbell says when crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames. It took more than 40 firefighters a good hour to extinguish the bulk of the fire. The family of six was home during the fire, but was able to escape unharmed.
