A fire at a Hanover home took more than two dozen firefighters from two departments to extinguish early Saturday, officials said.
Firefighters were called to the 1300 block of Dorsey Road for a report of a fire at a residence at 2:07 a.m., said Lt. Erik Kornmeyer, spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
He wrote in an email that responders found a substantial fire at a residence, requiring 26 firefighters from Anne Arundel and BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport fire departments to extinguish.
No one was at home at the time of the fire, Kornmeyer said, and no one was injured.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze, he said.
