Four cars caught fire Wednesday morning after a power line failure in Frederick, Maryland.
Firefighters responded around 6 am to a single car on fire at the American Motor Company, along North East St.
Authorities say a high voltage power line fell onto the car, sparking the fire, but they could not put it out until Potomac Edison switched off the power.
The fire spread to three more cars before the fire was extinguished.
Kenny griffin, the owner of American Motor Company, says he's grateful that more wasn't damaged. "Probably about $80,000 worth of cars were damaged. The fire department saved all the rest of everything, so I don't know, it wasn't that bad," Griffin said.
Officials say three cars are total losses, and one sustained considerable damages.
