Firefighters battled a house fire Saturday morning in Bel Air that caused $250,000 in damage, according to officials. Nobody was injured, and all inside were able to get out safely, the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reported. Officials said four people were displaced.
Crews were called at 4:51 a.m. to the 600 block of Brigantine Place for a house fire, according to authorities. The owner discovered the fire in the garage, the fire marshal said.
Firefighters from Abingdon, Bel Air and Fallston brought the blaze under control within 20 minutes, officials said.
According to the fire marshal, the cause has not yet been determined; however, there is nothing to indicate that there was a criminal act involved, the Office of the State Fire Marshal reported.
