Firefighters said they handled a water rescue call near Woodlawn Thursday night. A vehicle got stuck in floodwaters, and the person inside was on the roof, officials reported.
Crews were dispatched to Gynndale at Gwynnmore avenues before 10:45 p.m., according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
Officials reported they were working on the rescue, with the person stuck on the roof.
By 11 p.m., authorities said the person had been removed from the water by the swiftwater rescue team from Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department.
The area is under a flood warning until 3:45 a.m.
