PHOTOS: The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office had a busy Friday morning, responding to five fires in a span of 12 hours across the state. The fifth responding call was to an apartment complex in the 6000 block of New Forest Court in Waldorf, Maryland. A tweet from the Charles County Volunteer Fire and EMS stated it originated in the second story of an apartment building. Not more than an hour before the call, the fire department implored the public not to burn anything during the pandemic.
