House fire breaks out in Chevy Chase; Firefighters detect hoarding-like conditions inside

A large fire broke out at a home in Chevy Chase, Maryland Saturday night. When the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered that the home was full of items resembling hoarding conditions. Montgomery County Fire officials say there were no reports of injuries and the fire resulted in $400,000 in damages. The fire occurred after a starter log rolled out of the fireplace. Officials say there was a delay in calling 911 because the homeowner tried to stop the fire. Officials say the incident occurred at 8417 Freyman Dr.
