Authorities have ruled as accidental a Thursday night fire that heavily damaged a Queen Anne's County home.
According to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, the fire started around 7:45 p.m. in a bedroom of the home at 137 Rustic Acres Lane in Queenstown.
Firefighters with the Queenstown Volunteer Fire Company responded and had the fire under control in about 30 minutes.
The one-story, wood frame home sustained more than $80,000, according to the fire marshal.
No one was hurt in the fire.
Investigators determined a malfunctioning kerosene heater sparked the fire.
