Maryland fire officials say a weekend house fire has been ruled accidental. We’re told the fire broke out in a single-family structure that had been converted into two apartments in the 700 block of Camden Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night. Firefighters with the Salisbury Fire Department responded and placed the fire under control in just 15 minutes. Further investigation revealed that the fire started in the living room and was caused by the failure of an electric circuit supplying an operational space heater. Total fire damage was estimated at $12,000.
