A fire destroyed an unoccupied barn Tuesday afternoon in Talbot County, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office. Officials said the fire caused $150,000 in damage to the 40-foot-by-80-foot barn in the 30600 block of Matthewstown Road in Easton. Dozens of firefighters were called around 2:14 p.m. to the two-alarm fire that was discovered by a passerby. The barn was used for storage and no livestock were injured, officials said. A cause of the fire remains under investigation.
