PHOTO: Flames ripped through a building on Yancy Lane in Dedham Saturday Afternoon.
Multiple departments responded to the blaze with reports of explosions just before one.
Firefighters say they removed two large propane tanks and quickly got the fire knocked down.
Lower Dedham Road remained closed while crews were on scene and officials say the building is a total loss.
”The building is like a multi-use building. It’s got a couple add-ons on it. It’s a working garage with a workshop and two apartments that have been built onto the sides of it. So, there’s a lot of nooks and crannies that we’re working on to get the fire out. No injuries, while one minor injury with smoke inhalation, not transported. Fire Marshal has been notified,” explained Dedham Lucerne Fire Chief, Craig Shane.
