Firefighters Monday morning were battling a fire at the Ultimate Sports Bar, 1101 Division Street.
More than a dozen firefighters were on scene about 9:15 a.m. along with police, who were redirecting traffic off of Division Street. About 10:15 a.m., heavy grey smoke billowed away the north side of the building and drifted west toward the parking lot. As of 10 a.m., authorities had closed the westbound lanes of Division, also known as County Road 75 between about 10th and 15th Avenues. Eastbound Division was down to one lane.
At least four engines were positioned around the structure, including two ladder trucks that were spraying water down on to the building. Crews were from Waite Park, St. Cloud, Sartell and St. Joseph. Xcel Energy also was on scene.
