The State Fire Marshal is investigating following a fire that destroyed a home Monday afternoon in Dodge Center. According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the fire happened at a home on the 17000 block of 635th Street around 4:20 p.m. on January 6. The homeowner called authorities to report the fire. All occupants were able to get out of the home unharmed. When deputies arrived, the home was engulfed in flames, and people were moving vehicles away from the home.
