A 27-year-old was arrested after Moorhead police found a stolen vehicle on fire early Monday. The Moorhead police and fire departments responded to the 1000 block of 32nd Avenue South at about 4:43 a.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle fire in the area. Upon their arrival, officers and firefighters learned the fire was the result of a single-vehicle crash. A preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle left the road and hit two trees. The investigation also revealed the vehicle had been stolen Sunday night. A female passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. Police arrested Sabastijan Tahirovic, of Fargo, for felony possession of stolen property. The Clay County Sheriff's Office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
