The Bismarck Fire Department rushed to provide assistance on the evening of Saturday, April 13, after a single-family home caught fire.
According to the Bismarck Fire Department, at approximately 6:46 p.m., Central Dakota Communications received a call pertaining to a structure fire at a house on the 500 block of North 13th Street. When fire crews arrived, they found burning siding and smoke clearly visible from the rear. Some of the fire had also extended to an attic area.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, and then conducted an overhaul to find and put out any remaining smoldering materials. The fire damage was primarily to the exterior and attic of the home, with smoke damage extending throughout the house. All occupants of the home had been evacuated from the home before fire crews arrived.
