An early morning fire has damaged four homes and displaced several families in Trenton, said city Fire Director Derrick Sawyer.
The two-alarm blaze broke out around 5 a.m. on Oak Street and spread from one two-story row house to three other homes on the block, according to Sawyer.
One person needed assistance to get out of one of the homes, and was later taken to an area hospital for minor injuries, the fire director said. Multiple families have been displaced from their homes, and have since been assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the city fire marshal.
At the time the blaze broke out, winds in the Trenton area were gusting as high as 25 mph, according to data from the National Weather Service.
