Passaic County officials are investigating the cause of a fire that led to a partial evacuation of a Wayne mall on Saturday. Firefighters responded a little before 11 a.m. at the Hollister clothing store on the second floor of the Willowbrook Mall, according to a press release from the Passaic County prosecutor’s office. People were moved off the property after “significant” smoke spilled into a Bloomingdale’s nearby. No injuries were reported, according to the release. The mall is a few miles west of Paterson. Nobody answered Hollister’s phone during normal business hours Sunday, and a security official said the store was currently closed but declined to comment further.
