PHOTOS/VIDEO: Firefighters were battling a large blaze at a junkyard in Camden Tuesday afternoon. Thick, black smoke from the fire was visible from around the area. Officials said flames were reported shortly after 3 p.m. at a facility on Atlantic Avenue, near South Front Street. Photos on Twitter showed smoke from the scene across the Delaware River in Philadelphia and from a commuter train crossing the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
