A 4-year-old boy revived by first responders after nearly drowning in his family pool has made a recovery, according to Pennsauken police. The boy had been listed in critical but stable condition at Cooper Medical Center in Camden following the May 30 incident, which occurred in an above-ground swimming pool in the backyard of his home in the Delair section of Pennsauken. "The child has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery," said Pennsauken police Capt. Philip Olivo. The Camden County Prosecutor's Office investigated and ruled the incident accidental. The Pennsauken government issued a proclamation this month praising police officers, EMTs and fire department personnel for quick action in helping to revive the boy, whose twin brother was not involved in the incident.
