Boys & Girls Club Re-Opens Recreation Room With Pool Tables, Video Games and More Donated by Paterson Firefighters

Members of Paterson FMBA Local 2, the union that represents Paterson firefighters, and the Bronze Heat, the organization that count's the city's Black professional firefighters as its members, joined Mayor Andre Sayegh and the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson to celebrate the highly anticipated grand re-opening of the recreation room of the 21st Avenue Clubhouse on Monday. The room now includes two pool tables, video games, three Xbox controllers and an Oculus VR system thanks to the donations of the firefighters. “EJ McKenzie [Site Supervisor] of the Boys and Girls Club reached out to me and informed me that they recently renovated,” Ralph Feliciano, one of the firefighters who helped organize the donation, said. “He told me that they were in need of pool tables and games and stuff.”
