Public safety authorities in Hoboken will host a series of informal public meetings with residents to increase awareness of public safety initiatives and education campaigns, Mayor Ravi Bhalla announced. The Hoboken Community and Public Safety (CAPS) forums, hosted by new Public Safety Director Ken Ferrante and Hoboken City Council Public Safety Subcommittee Chair Councilman Joe Quintero, will be held every other month. “Open and transparent lines of communication are critical to keeping our community safe and informed,” Bhalla said. “The new Hoboken CAPS series will bring together the city’s essential first-responders, residents, and business leaders, under one roof for open dialogue about current trends, concerns, and programs.”
