Firefighters are ready to save people from burning homes, trained to give DPR and rescue people in dangerous situations. It turns out they're also keeping their eyes out for signs of human trafficking. The Bernalillo County Fire Department says every year they go through an EMS refresher. This year, there was an added focus on looking out for red flags and signs of child abuse. BCFD Lt. David Lujan said firefighters find themselves in the unique role because they go into homes and witness things first-hand.
