VIDEO: An investigation is underway after a home caught fire in Fernley. The flames were reported just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2019 on D Street.
The North Lyon County Fire Protection District says there was heavy fire and smoke coming from the home when crews got there. Four people were inside at the time, but made it out safely, and no one was hurt.
Firefighters say the flames started outside near the back of the home and spread quickly. The cause has yet to be determined.
The home sustained major damage.
