Crews had to put out a couple of small fires in a neighborhood just north of downtown Las Vegas Tuesday morning. Two separate fires could be seen near the intersection of Bruce Street and Washington Avenue, including one fire in a garbage container. Firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the flames. A spokesman for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said the cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries or damage to surrounding buildings were reported.
