Four-year-old rescued from North Las Vegas house fire dies

A 4-year-old boy rescued from a house fire Tuesday night has died, according to the city of North Las Vegas Fire Department. Firefighters rescued two children from a house fire near Cheyenne Avenue and Civic Center Drive. Authorities say the children were transported to UMC where the boy was pronounced dead. The other child was listed as stable. The incident occurred around 6:25 p.m. in the 3100 block of Webster Circle. Firefighters were able to locate the child within four minutes of arriving at the home. North Las Vegas Police were coordinating with the fire department on the investigation. They were on scene for several hours.
