Man taken to hospital after being pulled from 2-alarm fire in North Columbus strip mall

VIDEO: A man was taken to an area hospital on Sunday after firefighters pulled him out of a two-alarm fire at a strip mall on the North Side of Columbus. Crews responded to 2151 E. Dublin Granville Road before 10 a.m. on Sunday after receiving a report of heavy fire and smoke. The man was pulled out of the building in the early stages of the fire, officials said. The fire has been contained, officials said. The man did not appear to be under any distress but officials transported him to a hospital for an evaluation to be safe, officials said. Officials have not released any information about the man, including his name and age. Investigators are still at the scene and are trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
