Fire and EMS personnel are seeking to show what they do and how they do things.
Attica-Venice-Reed Fire District and Attica-Venice-Reed EMS District have a tent set up on the Attica Independent Fair’s midway this week.
Barb Charlton, Attica-Venice-Reed EMS District’s coordinator, said the crew is looking for volunteers.
Crew members are here for the public, she said.
“We give back to the community,” she said.
Attica-Venice-Reed EMS District has 12 crew members, and Attica-Venice-Reed Fire District has 27 crew members.
“Some are cross-trained,” Charlton said.
Charlton, who has been an EMT for 20 years, said getting five to 10 more volunteers would be ideal for the EMS crew.
“The more we have, the less everybody has to be committed,” she said.
