Crews from several fire departments were still working to put out the smoldering ruins of a barn that caught fire while a man was still inside. A Goshen Township Police officer was on Western Reserve Road at around 9 am Wednesday when a passer-by said reported the barn fire on Washingtonville Road. The officer got there and learned that a man on a Towmotor was still inside the burning barn Police tried unsuccessfully tried to pull the man from the barn but had to wait until firefighters to arrive to rescue him. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and burns. His name or condition have not been released.
